CHM Modern Options

To create a Modern CHM Help / Unicode CHM Help quickly, please follow the steps in quick start: Create Modern CHM Help / Unicode CHM Help.

To change the detailed features and appearance settings, select the CHM Modern tab as the activate tab.

Select CHM Modern to create Unicode CHM Help file.

Help Authoring Suite includes three build-in templates for creating Modern CHM/Unicode CHM Help file:

Default template: See screenshot and quick reference

OfficeStyle template: See screenshot and quick reference

Simple template: See screenshot and quick reference

Each template has 8 themes. To change the template or the theme, please refer to CHM Modern – Template/Theme. For other options, please see sub-topics.
