To create a Classic CHM / Compiled HTML help file quickly, please follow the steps in quick start:  Create Classic CHM Help / Compiled HTML Help.

To change the detailed features and appearance settings, select the CHM Classic tab as the activate tab.

Help Authoring Suite includes two built-in templates for creating Classic CHM/Compiled HTML Help files:

    Simple template:  See screenshot and quick reference

Each template has 8 themes.  To change the template or the theme, please refer to CHM Classic – Template/Theme.  For other options, please see the sub-topics.
